Traffic Management update: Closure of Brunswick Street / Leith Walk Junction
The Brunswick Street / Leith Walk junction will remain closed until further notice.
There has been a significant increase in volumes of motor traffic going through the Brunswick Street / Leith Walk junction. This is partly due to the Trams to Newhaven construction programme which is limiting the number of left hand turns off Leith Walk.
The junction was closed on 23 August 2022 for an initial two week period. In order to continue a review of the operation of this junction, this closure has been extended until further notice.
Access to the east of the city will be via Leith Walk and onto London Road.
