New Drone Video – Summer 2022
Shot in late May this year, our new video shows from above the progress we've made on the ground.
Watch as a drone flies you through the Trams to Newhaven route highlighting our key work areas as you go.
The project remains on track to deliver passenger service in Spring 2023. Some key statistics to date include:
- 99% of all utility diversions completed
- Almost 3,800 metres of track slab installed, 82% of the total
- Main construction works completed in 3 tram stops with good progress made on Balfour and Foot of the Walk stops
- 58 OLE poles installed, 28% of the total
