The Low Emission Zone support fund for Households funded by Transport Scotland and administered by Energy Saving Trust has now resumed and is open to new applications.

Funding

If you are in a low-income household living within 20 kilometres (12 miles) of the LEZ, you may be eligible to apply for a grant of up to £3,000. This includes

  • £2,000 for disposing of vehicles which do not comply with the low emissions standards in authorised disposal centre
  • £500 Travel Better vouchers per adult, up to £1,000 per household to buy bikes, e-bikes, cargo bikes and public transport tickets.

Free e-Cargo Bike trial

The Council has partnered with  to help individuals shift to more active and sustainable modes. You can try a range of electric cargo bikes for a free trial period if you live in the ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ area.
