Free period products
Local authorities across the country have been given a budget to provide free period products, plastic-free tampons and pads in public buildings. ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ Council has rolled this out to a range of buildings across the city, e.g., libraries, Community Centres, ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ Leisure, schools, further education colleges, museums, and galleries. Reusable period cups can also be found in libraries and community centres and reusable pants and pads will be piloted with a view to making them widely accessible. These should be easily available to pick up near the door and in toilets, to respect privacy.
