About Traffic Sensitive Streets
Some roads in ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ are designated as "traffic-sensitive" because of their importance to traffic flow within the city. Roads may be traffic-sensitive all of the time, or only for part of the time on certain days for example peak periods.
You can download our list of Traffic Sensitive Streets to find out if your proposed works are likely to fall into this category. The list shows whether or not the whole street is traffic-sensitive, or only a part of it, and the times at which it is designated as traffic-sensitive. If the Street you intend to work in or occupy is not on this list then it is not designated traffic-sensitive.
You should contact a neighbourhood Roads Officer if
- the whole road is not traffic-sensitive and you want to find out which sections are not
- you think the works you are planning will be carried out wholly outwith the traffic-sensitive period for the street.
