Reusable nappies have changed a lot since their beginnings as a terry cloth square. Today’s reusable nappies are simple one-piece systems which are absorbent, waterproof and fasten with velcro or poppers. They don't need soaking and can be washed in a normal washing machine.
Comfort
Reusable nappies can fit better than disposables and are made of soft material next to baby’s skin.
Reliability
They have less “spillages” and better containment due to elasticated waists and legs. They can be more absorbent meaning less changes and less risk of nappy rash due to the soft material.

but a cotton nappy lined with fleece will keep your baby dry with no harsh chemicals.

Better for the environment
Conventional disposable nappies are made from a combination of plastics which are not recyclable and will end up as waste.
