Our vision for Princes Street and Waverley Valley
We want to revitalise Princes Street and the wider Waverley Valley to make it a more vibrant and welcoming place.
As part of our wider City Centre Transformation plans, we have ambitious proposals to conserve and revitalise one of Scotland's most iconic streets and the wider Waverley Valley.
We want the area to thrive, providing a mix of shops and services for residents and visitors, attracting investment and jobs and supporting businesses within an exceptional historic and climate resilient environment.
The Waverley Valley includes East and West Princes Street Gardens, including the Ross Bandstand, Waverley Station, Waverley Market and East Market Street.
