Pay an LEZ Penalty Charge Notice
There is no method to pay in advance to enter the ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ LEZ with a non-compliant vehicle.
This penalty charge structure applies to all four Low Emission Zones in Scotland as set by the Scottish Government in the .
To make a payment, please have the following details to hand
- the LEZ Penalty Charge notice number beginning with EZ
- your vehicle registration number
- a valid credit or debit card.
If you have received a PCN but you believe your vehicle to be LEZ-compliant, please submit evidence by way of a copy of your vehicle's V5C, Certificate of Conformity or a letter from the vehicle's manufacturer along with your challenge. We can then raise the matter with the DVLA on your behalf.
Online
The simplest way to pay is online. You can also view the photos captured by the camera. You will be able to view them before you pay.
By phone
You can phone our secure 24-hour service to pay by debit or credit card. We accept Mastercard, Visa, Delta or Maestro.

Please take postage time into consideration when sending payments for LEZ Penalty Charge Notices by post. Where possible, please use an alternative payment method, for example payments can be made online or over the automated phone line. Note that you must leave time for your payment to reach us and that items may be lost or delayed if sent by post. If you would like a receipt, please also enclose a stamped addressed envelope.

At sheriff officers
We can’t accept payment if your LEZ Penalty Charge Notice has been passed to sheriff officers for collection. You must contact the relevant sheriff officer directly for payment options.
