Report graffiti

Graffiti on Council property is removed, where possible, by our Street Cleansing team as part of their diverse cleansing duties.

If the graffiti is on private property it’s the owner’s responsibility to remove this. Street furniture like communication boxes or post boxes belong to utility companies, so you should contact them to report graffiti.

We aim to remove offensive graffiti, for example, if it is racist or homophobic, within 24 hours.

We seek to work with communities to tackle graffiti. Our graffiti management policy explains how we’ll do this.
