Put Roadworks onto online maps - Petitions (Invalid)

Petition details
ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ road users need to be able to plan their journeys; the roadworks so many encounter force long waits and details, often leading to traffic jams. Using mapping software, travellers should be able to see where roads are being dug up before they hit the queues. The current daily update from the roads team is not user friendly (see example at www.edinburgh.gov.uk/downloads/file/32600/27-january-2023).
This petition calls for roadworks to be put online to software like Google Maps, Open Street Map or Tom-Tom to facilitate better journey planning.
Many of us use mapping software before we set out and as we drive and being able to anticipate roadworks will save drivers time and fuel- long queues of engines running are not good for the environment. It will also help everyone who has to get somewhere in a hurry- after all, for many of us, time is money.
